Wu-Tang: An American Saga

Wu-Tang: An American Saga

Wu-Tang: An American Saga was easily the most creative and the most challenging show that I worked on as an assistant editor. Every episode was a completely different creative expression, constantly stretching my ability to find a technical workflow for the editorial process. But it was also incredibly fun to work on something so vibrant in its creative ambition. I cut the recap setting the stage for Season 2 Episode 3 entitled “Hollow Bones.” Then, Episode 6 let us bring the great RZA’s musical mind into a realm that the rest of us mere mortals can see, with none other than Mario Van Peebles at the helm as the director. I love that I can say I played a part in that, as hard as it was to wrangle all the frame rates on that episode!
